Chat for Tinder App Reviews

This app is called “Chat for tinder” but should be called “pay a dollar for an app that literally does nothing”. You’ll hit “send” and the messages just disappear and dont go anywhere.

Like everyone else said, you cannot see the convo or send messages. I have the newest macbook and it notifies me of incoming messages but I cannot view them in the app. Good concept. Needs some work. Soon please!

Just doesn’t work…waste of time, it would’ve been smart to TEST the app before releasing it to public instead of using actual uses as test subjects..

doesnt even work. cant even chat with anyone. NEEDS FIXING NOW!!!!

Cant even open the app with this update. lol.

You cant even look at your own account and you can look for new matches either , way better on your phone

The app is at least functional now, still has some bugs. If you get a message from someone you’re chatting with while you’re typing it automatically sends what you’ve typed so far. Last active times seem to show when you sent the last message and not when they were actually active.

Buggy as hell. I want my money back.

It just says “Loading all matches”… The only way to exit the app is to force kill the process. Ridiculous.

Sure, it’s only a dollar, but I want my money back. The app is not functional at all. It just says “Loading all matches…It may take a few minutes” LITERALLY for EVER. Perpetually. I can’t believe Apple has not done something about this app or its developers. Complete BS. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Not sure why this application is receiving less-than-satisfactory ratings. Its purpose is quite clear and delivers on its promise. Thank you.

You can chat on Tinder from your computer, so that’s great. It really does what it’s supposed to do. Problems with it: No way to adjust the settings so it shows distance in miles instead of kilometers, or the correct time stamps. Can’t figure out how to turn off the banner that comes up whenever you get a new message It will sometimes send the message you’re typing before you hit return/enter Sometimes your messages show up out of order. Photos don’t show up properly, they are distorted or too big

This app does not work! And, Apple dosen’t seem to care. Update: 02/04/2015 now the app sort of works, but the developer has decided to place advertisement in the form of a popup to promote his/her other apps. ADVERTISEMENTS should not be part of a paid app!

It works well enough and there’s nothing else like it in the app store. Happy I spent the two bucks.

it flat out does not work. I hate when I take a chance on something and it bites me !! A waste of money.

Does it’s job well. As others have said, a paid app having ads cheapens the experience and makes me wonder why we pay for it.

No you can’t match new people with this app. No you cannot edit your profile from here. No you cannot view or send moments from this app. Tinder’s nice because it moves those you respond to the top of the list, this app doesn’t but it does allow you to bookmark matches. The sole purpose for this app in my book is a more effective way to message people (i.e. using your keyboard, with both hands rather than on your phone with both thumbs). That’s why I got it, and it worked well for me.

This seems to be specifically blocked out. I do not want to take up the entire screen….with tinder. I love the ability to type instead of text but computers are for multitasking and that is hard when the window is a fixed size. Thanks

This is specifically for messaging your matches. If you notice, there are some 1 star reviews, upset all it does it messaging. Apparently these dummies neglected to read the name of this app, CHAT for Tinder. There is no app, that I know of, that will let you do everything from your laptop. If you want to message back and forth and your computer is easier that your smartphone, this is perfect for you. It also allows unmatching. If you want to access the access all of Tinder’s features from your laptop, just invent an app that does it and I’ll be sure to buy a copy.

It is exactly what it says it is. Its convinient to have this for the computer. If you have tinder, definitely recommend
